Today is the first weekend where all 24 clubs in the Blue Square Premier will play, following the news that Chester can start the season on -25 points.
So here we go for my predictions for today’s games: -
Barrow vs Stevernage (H) 2-1 Barrow had that great result last weekend and stevernage have had 2 draws but home advantage should see them get the points.
Chester vs Cambridge United (A) 0-2 with Chester having played very few pre-season games and with all the turmoil going on they will be overrun by Cambridge.
Crawley vs Wrexham (A) 1-3 Wrexham will be looking to continue the strong start of last weekend
Eastbourne vs Rushden (H) 2-1 having seen Eastbourne in midweek I think they will be strong at home and edge this one.
Ebbsfleet vs Kiddiminster (A) 0-2 Ebbsfleet seem to be having big problems so Kiddimister should get all the points.
Hayes & Yeading vs Altrincham (D) 1-1 Hayes will be looking to get as many points as possible when playing at home so this maybe a game where they try to shut up shop.
Histon vs Oxford (A) 1-3 Oxford are one of my candidates for top 5 side and will be to strong for Histon.
Kettering vs AFC Wimbledon (D) 1-1 This will be a real test for us Kettering traditionally one of the strong teams in the league bringing a point back will be a good result.
Luton vs Gateshead (H) 4-1 Luton at home this year will be even harder than on the road and thats going to be hard enough they should win this fairly straight forwardly.
Salisbury vs Mansfield (D) 2-2 The first two leaders of the season meet and will share the points.
Tamworth vs Grays (H) 2-0 Grays another team having big problems so Tamworth here.
York vs Forest Green (H) 3-1 Although they only have a point between them I think York will be to strong for Forest Green.
